2018 Bullitt Mustang

The First 2018 Bullitt Mustang Is Heading To Auction For Charity

If you haven’t already heard, Ford introduced a new Bullitt edition Mustang GT for 2018. Featuring the signature Highland Green paint, 475 horsepower, and a handful of exclusive upgrades, it’s a winner. We’re sure fans are scrambling to get their orders in at dealerships, but if you want to skirt past all that nonsense, don’t worry—the very first example is being auctioned off for charity.

Bullitt Mustang VIN number 001 will come up for auction with no reserve at Barrett-Jackson’s 2018 Scottsdale event today, January 19th at approximately 7:30 PM local time. All proceeds will go to Boys Republic, a non-profit private school for at-risk adolescents where Steve McQueen spent his youth.

We still don’t know how much the production Bullitt will cost, but it’s safe to say VIN number 001 will go for quite a bit more than MSRP. Check it out here at Barrett-Jackson’s site.
